Indian Super League Final Game Results Of Match Day 2

The final games of Match Day 2 were played up until the 26th November with 13 goals scored over 3 games.

The match on Saturday the 25th November was between Mumbai City and Goa and produced a thrilling 2-1 scoreline at the Mumbai Football Arena,which saw the homeside opening their account.

Mumbai went ahead in the 59th minute through Everton dos Santos, before Manual Arana equalised in the 83rd minute. But just when it looked like the match would end on a stalemate, Santos went ahead and scored a brace in the 88th minute to give Mumbai an all important victory.

The second game was between Atletico de Kolkata and Pune City, on the Sunday at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata.

Pune FC handed ATK their worst home defeat in Indian Super League history after the game ended 4-1 to the visitors.

Last season’s Golden Boot winner Marcelo Leite Pereira (Marcelinho) netted twice for the visitors either side of half-time in the 13th and 60th minute, whilst Rohit Kumar scored the 2nd goal in 51st minute and Emiliano Alfaro scored the fourth in the 80th.

Bipin Singh pulled one back for the home side in the 50th minute with a sublime free kick in front of 32,816 spectators.

During Sunday evening’s other match, debutants Bengaluru registered a thumping 4-1 victory over Delhi Dynamos at Sree Kanteerava Stadium.

Erik Paartalu scored a brace in the 24th minute and during extra time in the first half. Lenny Rodriguez registered the 3rd goal in the 57th minute.

In the 86th minute Kalu Uche sent the ball into the net for Dynamos as Gurpreet Singh Sandhu dived the wrong way to give the visitors their only consolation. However 1 minute later and the homeside had scored their 4th through Nicolás Ladislao Fedor Flores.
